Yes, she calls them "things", for at the time she didn't understand or know what she was experiencing. Noreen tried to turn off these gifts. As with most children, the adults in our lives would tell us that it was just our imagination. She just assumed that the adults were right; it was her vivid imagination. (Please note that when Noreen uses the word gifts, she wants us to understand that everyone has these gifts, we just have to remember how to use them.) Noreen remembers vividly how "things" happened in her room at night, there were things in her closet, under her bed, in the hallway and under the back porch. Noreen was terrified. As a young child and early teen she would roll a ball under her bed. The ball would have to roll out the other side thus ensuring her that nothing was there. She also made sure the closet doors were closed, for the clothes would seem to take shape and move about. It had to be her imagination she thought. The flashes of light, the sparkles and the mists that moved around at night made her very uncomfortable. She would lie still uinder her blanket, not making a move nor a sound, trying not to breathe, so these "things" wouldn't get her. This isn't normal, why me, she would think. Noreen would come up with ideas to help her overcome her so called vivid imagination, even putting her mattress on the floor. This way the things under her bed wouldn't have a place to stay any longer. That would solve the problem. NOT! She still saw and felt presences. She would hold her bathroom urges in the middle of the night so she wouldn't have to run down the hallway to the toilet and feel the unknown strange energies that came forth. To walk up the steps leading to the outside porch took alot of effort for Noreen, she learned to take a running start and jump 3 or 4 steps at a time, so the things under the porch wouldn't grab her. As a child and in her teens, Noreen Elizabeth never understood any of this. After seeing a television show which featured a psychic in her latter teen years, Noreen started to read book after book on metaphysics. Angels, Guardian Angels, Guides, Fairies, Auras, Mediums, Clairvoyants, etc., and so on, this is what she had experienced, she thought. This is exactly what Noreen had experienced! But why did she see these things mostly during dark hours, she questioned? Noreen got her answer, it was because she was more relaxed and her mind wasn't preoccupied with daily work. Now having finally understood these visions, Noreen realized she wasn't crazy after all. What a relief! Noreen now laughs, whole-heartedly, at her behavior as she recalls her childhood. There is more to our 3D world; there is a whole other realm out there! Noreen did alot of reseach on this topic, reading as many books as she could, and searching the internet for answers. Even though her gifts were never totally gone, she had closed off some of her senses, but the clairvoyance and clairsentience returned easily, for she now accepted that there are worlds beyond here, full of God's loving thoughts and energy and there was nothing to be frightened or ashamed of. Noreen attended many seminars and extensive workshops throughout the country on Metaphysics and "Connecting to the Other Side" where she learned to use her gifts with trust and ease. This opened a whole new door for her. Noreen now teaches others how to reconnect and re-member with Spirit, God and All That Is. She wants everyone to know that we can all do this, we all have the ability to connect, if we willing allow ourselves. Thats what she teaches, she teaches you how to re-member. Through her learning, Noreen became "spiritually enlightened or awake" as she calls it. Although, Noreen still has a driving force within her to gain more knowledge of spirituality, and states the she will continue to learn on a daily basis thru books, classes, others and life itself, Noreen now knows that her purpose on this earthly plane is to teach and assist others on their path. She doesn't want any child of God to fear the dark as she did when she was a child. Noreen states that teaching brings much joy and happiness to her life, sometimes she even learns from her students, especially the children she says, they are the real teachers! What comes around goes around, Noreen says. We are always learning from each other, isn't it just wonderful!
